Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz met a total of four times last season. While the Spanish youngster had the upper hand at Wimbledon, the Serbian grandmaster was able to celebrate at the French Open, in Cincinnati and at the ATP Finals in Turin.

On December 27th, the two best players in the world will face each other for the last time in 2023. This time the occasion is of course not quite as special as the previous duels, as the two will "only" meet at an exhibition in Saudi Arabia this time.

At the “Riyadh Season Tennis Cup” Djokovic and Alcaraz will test their form for the first time before the coming season. This also applies to Aryna Sabalenka and Ons Jabeur, who will duel on Tuesday in a new edition of this year's Wimbledon semi-final.

Djokovic and Alcaraz could only see each other again at the Australian Open in 2024. In contrast to Djokovic, who will open his season at the United Cup, the Grand Slam event in Melbourne marks the first official tournament of the new year for Alcaraz.
