At this point it is of course pointless to list all the suppliers with whom Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have enjoyed success on the world's tennis courts during their brilliant careers. Eternal brand loyalty is rare - even Andre Agassi completed the final phase of his career in three German stripes. While in many years before that he had become an icon with the Swoosh in the name of the Greek goddess of victory. After all: Rafael Nadal has remained loyal to that brand since his first day. And vice versa.

Arthur Fils has now announced that from next year he will be moving to the Crocodiles camp, where Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev and Ugo Humbert have already made big prey in the past few months. Fils is leaving the company, which in its name upholds a healthy mind in a healthy body.

Changing equipment early in a career is not uncommon: Alexander Zverev and Félix Auger-Aliassime were also associated with Beaverton in the state of Oregon years ago (#swoosh), and now they are competing for TC Herzogenaurach (#three stripes). With Sebastian Korda the path was exactly the opposite.

When it comes to Fils, there is also something to report in terms of sport: the Frenchman was voted “Newcomer of the Year 2023” by coaches and colleagues.
